FUNERAL

The funeral of the late Mary Jane Binney will leave her late residence, Parker Street, tomorrow (Sunday), at 11.15 a.m., for the Bluff Cemetery. Friends please accept this intimation.

The death occurred at Devonport on Thursday night of Mrs. Bennie, wife of Mr. James Bennie, the well-known road contractor. The deceased had been ailing for the past ten months, and the end was not unexpected. She was born in Ireland some 71 years ago, and came to Tasmania as an infant, and has resided at Devonport for the past ten years with her husband and family. She leaves a husband and a family of four sons (who are well known on the North West Coast) and four daughters to mourn their loss. The funeral will take place to morrow at the Mersey Bluff cemetery, leaving her late residence, Parker Street, at 1.15.
