CLARK – The funeral of the late Wm. Clark is appointed to leave his late residence, 24 Turton Street, Devonport, on TUESDAY, June 21, at 2 p.m. for interment in the old Don cemetery. – Haslock and Gillard.

Late Mr. William Clark, Devonport


The funeral of the late Mr. William Clark, of Devonport, took place at the old Don cemetery on Tuesday, Rev. J. K. Storey officiating.
The chief mourners were Messrs. Reg. Clark (son), Dave Clark (brother), George, Charles, Oscar, Alfred and Jack McCall (stepsons), G. Armstrong and Stan Clark (nephews).
The pallbearers were Messrs. C. Kimberley, J. Collins, W. Murfet and R. Hays, and the carriers Messrs. G., C., A. and J. McCall. Included in the floral tributes was one from members and adherents of the Devonport Congregational Church.
The late Mr. Clark had been a respected resident of Devonport for several years, having previously been well known on the West Coast, where he lived for many years before coming to Devonport. He is survived by his widow and two sons, Messrs. James and Harry Clark, of Sydney, and Reg. Clark, of Zeehan.
