DEATH

CONVERY - On the 22nd of September, at the residence, of Mr. W. Chapman, West Devonport, Joseph Convery, late of Hobart, aged 29 years. R.I.P.

A young man named Joseph Convery, formerly on the mechanical staff of this journal, died at the residence of his father in law, Mr. W. Chapman, West Devonport, on Friday. The deceased had been suffering for months from consumption and the end did not come unexpectedly. The remains were interred in the Bluff Cemetery on Saturday afternoon, the service at the grave being conducted by the Rev. Father Corcoran.
