Resident's Death
Following a serious operation at the Devon Hospital the previous day, Mr. Arthur Cullen passed away early yesterday morning. He was born at Cressy 66 years ago and was the second son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Free Cullen, who were very well known in the Cressy district for many years. Mr. Cullen came to Forth over 30 years ago and was a well-known farmer. He was ill for five weeks and entered the Devon Hospital three weeks ago. The funeral will take place to-morrow afternoon.

A large and representative gathering attended the funeral at Forth on Sunday of Mrs. B. E. Cullen, who died at her home, "Armiston," Forth, on Friday. The late Mrs. Cullen was the second eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Brumby, "Brookelsby", Cressy and wife of the late Arthur Cullen. She was in her 75th year and had resided at Forth for the past 43 years. The chief mourners were: sons, George, Roy and Lance; daughter Ivy (Mrs. Cornelius); son-in-law C. Cornelius: brother, P. Brumby; brothers-in-law, E. Lee, G. P. Cullen and T. Wellard, sister, Mrs. T. Wellard; sisters-in-law, Mrs. P. Brumby, Mrs. C. Page and Mrs. F. Cullen. The carriers were Messrs. H. Perry, J. Kenny, A. Pearce and W. Avery. Services at the home and graveside were conducted by Rev. J. B. H. Robson. B.A.
