The funeral of the late Mrs. Denby will leave her husband’s residence, Upper Stewart Street, on Tuesday 9th inst., for the Bluff

The funeral of the late Mrs. Henry Denby took place at the Bluff cemetery yesterday afternoon and despite the boisterous weather, there was a representative gathering. The service was conducted by the Rev. M. Lawther.

FUNERAL
The funeral of the late Henry Denby will leave the Railway Station, Devonport, this day (Wednesday), at 12 o’clock, for the Mersey Bluff Cemetery. Friends please accept this intimation.

The remains of the late Mr. H. Denby were brought from Launceston to Devonport yesterday and were interred at the Mersey Bluff cemetery. A fair number of people attended to pay their last tribute of respect to an old resident of the town. The chief mourners were Messrs. H. Denby (son) and A. Coleman (brother-in-law). The service was conducted by the Rev. J. A. Jeffreys’ while the pall-bearers were Messrs. C. Ramsay, A. Morton, A. G. B. Keene and T. F. Beale.
