SUDDEN DEATH
A painfully sudden death occurred at about 1 p.m. yesterday, when Mrs. H. Fitch, who resided with her husband and three little children in a cottage in Upper Rooke Street, passed away. Dr.Fitzpatrick was summoned at the hour mentioned and proceeded to the house, where he found Mrs. Fitch lying on a bed, fully dressed. The doctor is of the opinion that death took place about 15 minutes before his arrival. The deceased lady was about her household duties as usual when she suddenly complained of feeling ill. Her husband was away at work and her mother was sent for and later the doctor. A husband and three young children – the youngest a baby three months old – are left to mourn their loss. Heart failure was the cause of death and no inquest was deemed necessary. The deceased lady was only 29 years of age.
