MEMORIAM
In loving remembrance of our dear husband and father, Cornelius Gibbons, who died September 22, 1904, at Don
We placed pure blossoms on his breast,
We kissed the quiet brow
That kindly Death had freed from pain
No need for patience now.
We stood beside the silent form
And could not grieve nor weep,
For Death to him brought welcome rest
And his beloved sleep.
