We regret to announce the death of Mrs. Gower, wife of Mr. Robert Gower, of the Don, which took
place early Sunday morning. The deceased had been ailing for some time from asthma, and lately
contracted inflammation of the lungs, but rallied considerably on Saturday, and hopes were
entertained for her ultimate recovery. However, a change set in for the worse, and she died as stated
above. The deceased, who was 46 years of age, leaves a family of fourteen children.
The funeral will take place this afternoon, and the deceased will be interred in the Don Cemetery.
