The funeral of the late James Hancock will leave his late residence, Don, at 3 p.m. To-morrow (Thursday) for the Don cemetery. H. Weller, Undertaker.

About People
Mrs. James Hancock, an old resident of the Don, passed away at her residence on Tuesday. She came to Tasmania from South Australia 40 years ago, and has resided at Don for the past 35 years. The family consisted of 13 children, four have died in recent years, and only the eldest son is unmarried. Two daughters are Mesdames A. T. Anderson (Forth) and A. G. Yaxley (Spreyton). Mr. Hancock predeceased her some four years ago. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon in the Don cemetery, the remains being interred alongside those of her late husband. The Rev. J. Ebery conducted the burial service.
