HERRING – The funeral of the late John Julius Herring is appointed to leave his late residence, Leith Road, Forth, on Saturday at 3 o’clock, for interment in the Anglican cemetery, Leith. Will friends please accept this intimation?

The funeral of the late Mr. John J Herring, Leith took place on Saturday, the interment being in the
Anglican cemetery, Leith. There was a large assemblage of friends and neighbours.
Rev B. S. Hammond, of Ulverstone, officiated at the house and the graveside.
The chief mourners were the four sons, Messes Wilfred, C., E. and L. Herring and Mr. C. Herring (brother),
from Victoria. The pall bearers were four sons-in-law, Messrs. Eric Johnstone, D. Hunt, K. W. Campbell and
B. Alderson.
