DEATH

HIGGINSON – On April 12, at his residence, Macrow’s Hill, Don, James Higginson, in his 91st year. (English and Scotch papers please copy.)

An old colonist in the person of Mr. J. Higginson died at the Don on Friday last. He was close upon 91 years of age, over forty of which had been spent in the Forth and Don districts. The funeral took place on Sunday.

The funeral of the late William Higginson will leave his late residence, Forthside, on Thursday, 19th inst., at 1 o’clock, for the Don cemetery. Friends are invited to attend. Jeffrey, Undertaker

FORTH

The death occurred yesterday of Mr. William Higginson at his farm, Forthside, after a short illness, pneumonia being the fatal infection. He leaves a widow and four children to mourn their loss. The burial will take place tomorrow afternoon at the Don Cemetery.
