FUNERAL

The funeral of the late Florence Hilda Isaacs will leave her mother’s residence, William Street, this day (Tuesday), at 3 p.m., for the Bluff Cemetery. Friends please accept this intimation. Jeffrey, undertaker.

The death occurred at the Devon Hospital on Sunday morning of Miss Florence Isaacs, eldest daughter of Mr. H. Isaacs, formerly assistant lighthouse keeper at the Mersey Bluff, but who some four months ago proceeded to the front. The deceased, who was only nineteen years of age, had only been ill a little over a fortnight, although from the first faint hopes were entertained of her recovery. The funeral will take place this afternoon at the Mersey Bluff cemetery

The funeral of the late Miss Florrie Isaacs took place yesterday afternoon at the Mersey Bluff when a number attended to pay their last tribute of respect. The chief mourners were the deceased’s mother, sisters, brother and brother-in-law. The Rev. H. B. Atkinson, B. A., conducted the service at the graveside.
