FUNERAL
The funeral of the late John Jacques will leave his late residence, Mersey Bluff, tomorrow (Saturday) at 3 p.m., for the Bluff Cemetery.

The funeral of the late Mr. John Jacques, assistant light-keeper at the Bluff lighthouse, took place on Saturday afternoon and was fairly largely attended. The coffin containing the remains of the deceased was covered with the Union Jack and was carried to the place of interment, the Bluff cemetery, the pall-bearers being Messrs. F. Ring, J. Sellers and C. and E. Buckpitt. The Rev Canon de Coetlogon and the Rev. Maxwell Stephens conducted the burial service of the Church of England at the grave.
