The funeral of the late Mrs. John Lamprey will take place at the Don cemetery on Wednesday afternoon, leaving the Devon Hospital at 2 p.m., and passing Devonport at 3 p.m. Friends please accept this intimation.

The death occurred at the Devon Hospital last night of Mrs. John Lamprey at the age of 64 years. The deceased recently arrived in Devonport on a holiday visit to her sister, Mrs. Edward Smith, in the hope that a change of climate would prove beneficial. However, she gradually became worse, and acting under medical advice she proceeded to the hospital for treatment, but all attention proved unavailing, and she passed peacefully away last night. She leaves a family of one son (Mr. Albert Lamprey) and one daughter (Mrs. Gavin McMeiken), both of whom are now residing in Melbourne. The funeral will take place at the Don cemetery tomorrow afternoon, passing Devonport at about 3 p.m.

DEATH OF MR. S. LAMPREY
Mr. Samuel Lamprey, of Sisters Creek, died at the residence of his brother-in-law Mr. E. Smith, Rooke Street, Devonport, last night. Deceased was a native of Northdown, and married a Miss Carey, of West Kentish, and leaves a widow and two daughters. For thirteen years he resided at Sisters Creek, and prior to that spent 25 years in the Kentish district, where he has relatives, and is well-known. Blood-poisoning, which commenced in one of his hands, was the cause of death at the age of 73 years. The funeral will take place at the Bluff Cemetery at 2 p.m. tomorrow.

THE LAST RITES
The funeral of the late Mr. Samuel Lamprey, who died at the residence of his brother-in-law (Mr. E. Smith), Rooke St., Devonport, on Sunday evening, took place at the Mersey Bluff cemetery yesterday afternoon. Services at the house and graveside were conducted by Mr. T. King, of Sheffield. The coffin was borne by four nephews, and there was a very large gathering of relatives and friends from Sheffield, Barrington, Kimberley, Devonport, Railton, Wynyard and other districts, where deceased was well known.
