DEATH

LIDDLE - On September 17, 1904, at his late residence, "Ochil Hill," Forth, John Fleming Liddle, aged 72 years.

The remains of the late Mr. J. F. Liddle were interred in the Methodist cemetery on Tuesday afternoon. Rev. C. Angwin conducted the services at the house and cemetery. Mr. G. E. Hays was the conductor and carried out the arrangements in his usual satisfactory way. The funeral cortege was a very lengthy one. Messrs M. E. Robinson, M. H. A., C. P. Wilson and Geo Duncanson were the chief mourners. Residents from Ulverstone, Don Devonport, Kindred and surrounding districts were present to pay their respects to one who was so well and favourably known. Deceased came to Forth with his wife about 43 years ago, consequently he was one of the early pioneers of the N. W. Coast.
