FUNERAL
The funeral of the late Henry Phillip Lovering (Ceylon Civil Service, India), will leave his late residence Don Road, This Day (Thursday), at 2 o' clock, for the Don Cemetery. Friends are invited to attend.

The death occurred yesterday of Mr. Henry Phillip Lovering, at his residence, Don Road, at the age of 63 years. The deceased was born in Boston, United States of America, in 1848, being a British descent. He was engaged for a number of years as district surveyor in the Ceylon civil service, and retired on a pension in 1901, when he came to Tasmania, and took up his residence at Devonport. He led a retired life, having been in failing health for some years. He leaves a widow and an adopted daughter, the latter residing in Ulverstone. The funeral will take place at the Don cemetery this afternoon.

FUNERAL
LOVERING – The funeral of the late Clara M. Lovering will leave Harold Street, West Devonport, on Friday, at 1.30 p.m., for the Don Cemetery. Jeffrey, Undertaker.
The Advocate 14th November 1918
There passed away at Devonport yesterday Mrs. Clara M. Lovering, widow of the late Mr. Robert Lovering, at the advanced age of 75 years. Deceased was a native of Ceylon, and came to Tasmania many years ago with her late husband, who was retired officer of the Indian Army. He had predeceased his wife by about six years. The funeral takes place tomorrow at the Don Cemetery.

Yesterday afternoon the funeral of the late Mrs. Clara Lovering took place, the cortege leaving her late residence in Harold Street for the Don Cemetery. An impressive service at the graveside was conducted by the Rev. G. Rowe.
