FUNERAL
MENNIE – The funeral of the late James Mennie will leave his late residence, Archer Street, Devonport, tomorrow (Tuesday), at 2.30 p.m., for the Bluff Cemetery. Friends please accept this intimation.

DEATH
The death of Mr. James Mennie, of Archer Street, took place yesterday morning. He had been ailing for a long time and was a victim of Bright’s disease. A few months ago a son, Private Mennie, died at the Sanatorium under distressing circumstances as fully reported in “The Advocate,” and the parents and father particularly, who was in failing health, felt the bereavement very keenly. Deceased was a laborer by occupation and was native of New South Wales, being resident at Devonport for many years. He was 47 years of age and leaves a widow and daughter to mourn their loss
