NEAL – The funeral of the late Fanny Ann Neal will leave her late residence, Oldaker Street, Devonport, at 2 p.m. to-morrow, for the Bluff Cemetery. Friends please accept this intimation.

The death took place yesterday at her residence, “Sutton,” Oldaker Street, Devonport, of Mrs. Fanny Neal, at the age of 73 years. The late Mrs. Neal came to Tasmania from England when only five years of age. Later she married Mr. James Henry Neal and for many years lived on the West Coast. About 12 years ago Mr. and Mrs. Neal came to Devonport to reside. Mr. Neal died three years ago. Mrs. Neal leaves a family of one son, Mr. H. S. Neal, who is in business in Queenstown and seven daughters – Mrs. M. W. Gilbert, Devonport; Mrs. C. Benneworth, Ulverstone; Mrs. A. A. Winch, Hobart; Mrs. G. C. Farr and Mrs. Burgess, New Zealand; Mrs. R. W. Livingstone, South Africa and Mrs. L. Reid, who has lost her husband and lately lived with her mother and nursed her through her last illness. The funeral takes place tomorrow

FUNERAL

The funeral of the late William Neale will leave his late residence, Parker Street, on Friday (This Day), at 2.30 for the Don cemetery. Friends are invited to attend. Jeffrey, Undertaker.

Obituary

The death occurred yesterday morning of William Neale, at the age of 65 years, after a short illness, the cause of death being heart trouble. The deceased had for several years been engaged as gardener by Mr. James Boag, and was a recognised authority in horticultural matters. He leaves four sons, Daniel, Percy, William, and James. The funeral will take place at the Don cemetery this afternoon.

The death occurred yesterday morning of Mr. W. Neale at his residence in Parker Street. The deceased had an illness extending over five weeks, and the disease proved incurable, despite the attention of his medical adviser. Mr. Neale had an acquaintance with the coast of over 40 years, and he removed to Launceston, returning to Devonport a few years ago as gardener for Mr. James Boag. He leaves a widow and two sons resident at Devonport, and was a member of the I.O.G.T. Lodge.
