The funeral of Mrs. Esther Louisa Richardson, of Forth, who died at the Ulverstone Hospital on Wednesday at the age of 64, took place at the Forth Methodist Cemetery on Friday, Rev. Neil Hinde conducted the services. The late Mrs. Richardson was a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs. Dave Fogarty, of Hobart and a former resident of Penguin and Abbotsham. She is survived by her husband, two sons and two daughters. The sons are Messrs. Jack (Abbotsham, late original members of the 4th Machine Gun Company) and Ernie (a member of the 6th Garrison Battalion). The daughters are Mesdames N. D. McCulloch (King Island) and A. M. Basham (Forth).
The chief mourners were the husband, sons, son-in-law (Mr. A. M. Basham), daughters-in-law (Mesdames J and E. Richardson) and brothers (Messrs. E. C., S., R. and A. Fogarty). The carriers were Messrs. A. Basham, A. Richardson, J. and A. Anderson and the pallbearers Messrs. G. Watson, E. Gardiner, S. L. Yates and P. Brumby.

RICHARDSON – On February 3, 1946, at the Devon Hospital, Latrobe, Kealing Frederick, of Percy Street, Devonport, widower of Esther Louisa Richardson and loving father of Jack, Vera, Eileen and Ernie, in his 78th year. Burial Forth Methodist Cemetery.
