SYMMONS – At Devonport, on October 21, Marion, wife of the late John Symmons, of The Oaks, in her 78th year.

FUNERAL

SYMMONS – A funeral service in connection with the death of the late Marion Symmons will be conducted at St. John’s Church, Devonport, at 3 p.m. today. The cortege will then proceed to the place of interment, the old Don cemetery. Haslock and Gillard.

The death occurred rather suddenly yesterday of Mrs. Marian Symmons, widow of the late Mr. John Symmons, of The Oaks. The deceased lady was born at Bishopsbourne and after the demise of her late husband some years ago she came to Devonport, residing with Miss Blackwood. The late Mrs. Symmons during her residence at Devonport made many friends. She was in her 78th year. The funeral leaves St. John’s Church of England at 3 p.m. to day.
