Mr. Percy Daniel Watson, Kindred

There was a large and representative attendance at the funeral of the late Mr. Percy Daniel Watson, at the Methodist Cemetery, Forth.
The late Mr. Watson was the youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Watson, of Mole Creek and was born in Mole Creek 54 years ago. He went to Kindred with his family about 1903, and, except for a period of about two years in which he was in Victoria, he carried on the occupation of farming on his property up till the time of his sudden death recently. About 12 years ago, he married Miss Maud Miles, of Abbotsham, who survives him, together with one son (Milton). The late Mr. Watson was a popular figure in the district, and the large attendance at the funeral showed the high esteem in which he was held.
The chief mourners were Messrs. G. and S. Watson (brothers) and Mrs. H. Barnes (sister). The pallbearers were Messrs. J. Whiley, H. Stevenson, A. C. Vertigan and E. Howe. The carriers were Messrs. E. L. Miles, D. Mason, W. Barnes (Brothers-in-law) and Lloyd Watson (nephew).
