FUNERAL
The funeral of the late Mary Martha Wiskers will leave her late residence, Don, on Thursday at 2 o’clock, for the Forth Cemetery. Friends are invited to attend.

The death occurred at her residence, Don, yesterday morning of Mrs. William Wiskers, who has been a resident of the district for the past 36 years. The deceased formerly came from Ireland, and settled at Exton, and then removed to the Don. The family left are Miss Lizzie Wiskers of Don, Mr. Joseph Wiskers of Magnet, Mr. John Wiskers in Western Australia, Mrs. Copping of Ridgley and Mrs. Fleming of Cam.

ABOUT PEOPLE
The funeral of the late Mrs. W. Wiskers took place on Thursday afternoon in the Forth Catholic Cemetery. On the lengthy cortege arriving at St. Joseph’s Church, the body was taken into the Church, where the first portion of the ritual for the dead was read by the Rev. Father Dowling. While the coffin was leaving the Church, the organist, Miss Harrington, played the “Dead March in Saul.”

Mr. Joseph Whiskers, an old resident of the Don, died on Thursday, through general breaking up of the system, at the age of 70 years. He had resided at the Don for 23 years, being occupied in farming and having taken up, when he first went there, what was known as “Flood’s farm.” Prior to that he had resided at Westbury. Deceased, who was much respected, leaves a widow and grown up family
