Another Flu Victim – The death took place early yesterday morning of Mrs. C. J. Wright, at her husband’s residence, Best Street. About three weeks ago she was seized with a sudden attach of influenza while driving from Ulverstone to Devonport, and became so bad that she had to resign the reins to a companion. She made fair progress, and about 10 days ago she suffered a relapse. Pneumonia developed and despite all that medical and nursing attention could do she passed away as stated. Deceased was only 23 years of age and she was married last February. She was extremely popular and was the third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. N. Hawkins, of Best Street. The sincere sympathy will be expressed for the bereaved husband, parents, brothers and sisters. Mr. and Mrs. Hawkins have had more than their share of trouble, as they lost one of their sons just over 12 months ago.
DEATH
WRIGHT – On November 7, at Devonport, Mary Josephine, dearly beloved wife of P. J. A. Wright and third daughter of George and Lucy Hawkins, aged 23 years.
